In 2017, Richard Stockton College of New Jersey had its Level VI regional accreditation renewed by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) for 10 more years under president Harvey Kesselman, Ph.D. This Philadelphia-based agency is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to review Stockton's 32 baccalaureate, 12 master's, two doctoral, and 17 certificate programs.
